Bob Coleman
Chief Executive Officer
Bob Coleman is the Chief Executive Officer of Nightwing. He is a results-driven technology executive with a proven record of building, leading, and investing in national security and defense industry companies to meet mission objectives, foster innovation, and position organizations for long-term success.
He currently leads a team that specializes in developing intelligence, cyber, and software solutions — providing some of the world’s most technically advanced full-spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration, and intelligence mission support services.
A seasoned executive, Coleman has led some of the industry’s largest companies and founded dynamic, disruptive competitors. Previously, he founded and served as the President and CEO of Six3 Systems, overseeing the company’s rapid growth before leading the business through its acquisition by CACI. Prior to that, Coleman was President and Chief Operating Officer of ManTech International.
He began his career as Founder, President, and CEO of Integrated Data Systems (IDS), until its acquisition by ManTech in 2003. He has also served on the boards of Blackhorse Solutions and LookingGlass Cyber Solutions.
Coleman earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Pennsylvania Western University – Clarion.
Steve Worley
Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Steve Worley is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Nightwing, which specializes in developing intelligence, cyber, and software solutions — providing some of the world’s most technically advanced full-spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration and intelligence mission support services.
He brings over 25 years of experience driving valuable results and building a world class team. Prior to this role, he was the Chief Operating Officer of the Cybersecurity, Intelligence and Services unit of Raytheon, a business of RTX.
Previously, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Intelligence, Information and Services, a $7B segment of Raytheon Company. He positioned the company to grow faster than the market year over year, while improving business productivity.
He also served on the Hawkeye 360 board, a strategic partnership of Raytheon to integrate the commercial satellite company’s geospatial information to enhance the company’s analytics services for government customers.
Steve holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Towson University. He also earned his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certificate.
Yvonne Vervaet
Executive Vice President, Chief Growth Officer
Serving in a variety of strategy, business development, and operational leadership roles over her 30-year career in the defense and aerospace industry, Yvonne Vervaet is experienced in M&A planning, strategic resource alignment, and driving accelerated organic growth for organizations. As Chief Growth Officer at Nightwing, she is responsible for the company’s strategic vision, business development, organic growth, and new capabilities for the Intelligence Community, Federal Civilian, Defense Department, and commercial markets.
Before joining Nightwing, she led the corporate growth strategy as Chief Growth Officer at Acclaim Technical Services. Prior to that, Yvonne served as Senior Vice President for Growth & Capabilities and Chief Growth Officer for ManTech International, Chief Operating Officer of SC3/Cipher, and Vice President of Business Development & Operations for SpecTal (BAE Systems). She has also served in various roles at CSC, EDS, and Northrop Grumman.
Yvonne holds a degree in business administration from the Rochester Institute of Technology and enjoys fostering rescue dogs.
Phil Harvey
Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer
Phil Harvey is the chief technology officer at Nightwing, bringing more than three decades of experience in advanced systems engineering, national security, and mission-focused innovation. Over his career, he has led pioneering work in software-defined signals intelligence, special communications, and offensive and defensive cyber operations, consistently applying rigorous engineering discipline to some of the government’s hardest technical problems. As CTO, Harvey is responsible for understanding global technology trends and their implications across multiple domains, ensuring Nightwing and its government partners have the capabilities required to meet evolving national security challenges.
Before joining Nightwing, Harvey spent nearly 30 years with Raytheon, where he served most recently as principal engineering fellow and technical director for the Cybersecurity, Intelligence and Services business. His roles spanned RF sensor and hardware development, global covert communications, signals intelligence systems, and offensive cyber capabilities, including leadership of major pursuits.
Harvey holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering with a concentration in communications theory from the University of California San Diego and a Master of Engineering in cybersecurity policy and compliance from the George Washington University.
Jon Check
Senior Vice President, High Consequence Missions (HCM)
Jon Check is Senior Vice President of High Consequence Missions for Nightwing. He and his team provide clients with a diverse portfolio of services comprising digital communications technology, logistics and facilities support, advanced engineering solutions, data management, application development, and technology modernization.
Jon previously served as Nightwing’s Vice President of Cyber Protection Solutions where, as a recognized expert in the cybersecurity field, he led the business focusing on data, cloud, DevOps, DevSecOps, automation, Zero Trust, and secure supply-chain technologies. Prior to his time with Nightwing, Jon was an Executive Director in the Cybersecurity, Intelligence and Services business at Raytheon, and Vice President of CSRA’s digital solutions organization. Jon served as Vice President of the solutions organization at Computer Sciences Corporation, and as Executive Operations Manager of global business services for IBM. He has also held leadership roles at Dell and Northrop Grumman.
Jon earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in environmental science from the University of Virginia. A former chairman for the National Cyber Security Alliance, Jon is now a member of the Luminary Network with the Cyber Guild, working to raise awareness and interest in cybersecurity.
Christopher Jones
Senior Vice President, Special Projects ELITE (SPE)
Chris Jones is the Senior Vice President for Special Projects ELITE (Engineering, Logistics and Integration for Technical Execution) at Nightwing, where he applies his leadership and technical expertise to deliver comprehensive technical solutions and operational support for national intelligence initiatives worldwide.
Before coming to Nightwing, he spent the bulk of his career with the Central Intelligence Agency in executive leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Associate Deputy Director for Science and Technology. Prior to that role, he stood up and led CIA’s HUMINT Technology Office (HTO) and served as Deputy Director in the Office of Global Access (today’s Technical Collection Office).
Chris had senior leadership tours in Europe, south and east Asia, Latin America, and in the Operational Engineering Group. Aside from his government service, Chris was worked in information technology for the finance industry.
Chris earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Science in Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech.
Timothy Zentz
Senior Vice President, CODEX
Timothy Zentz is Senior Vice President of Cyber Offense and Defense Experts (CODEX) for Nightwing. Building on Nightwing’s legacy of classified work with United States government intelligence agencies and programs, CODEX is focused on providing custom-tailored cyber capabilities for offense, defense, and security initiatives.
Tim’s career in national security spans more than 20 years, and he most recently served as a Senior Director with Raytheon’s Cybersecurity, Intelligence and Services business after working in various finance and business development leadership roles. Programs led by Tim have yielded more than a billion dollars in new contract awards.
Zentz holds a Bachelor of Science in business management from Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pa.
